2. Importance of High Quality Video

2.1 Importance of High Quality Video

2.2 High Quality Video

Notes:

A key responsibility of the TV Tech is to produce high quality pre and post TV videos and data and proper lateral cuttingA Pre-installation video is a CCTV (Closed Caption TV) inspection done prior to pipe and lateral rehabilitation.A Post-installation video is an inspection performed following pipe rehabilitation and lateral reinstatement / rehabilitation. In both, high quality video is essential! Should any questions rise, our videos are evidence that we have done our job.

2.3 Video examples

Notes:

Without high quality video we run the risk of Wasting valuable time and resourcesAlienating Customers andCausing mistakes in the reinstatement processNot getting paid

2.4 client video

Notes:

Check out what can happen as a result of low quality video. This video was provided to the customer. Due to the low quality, the customer did not accept the video because they could not see the entire pipe. We had to re-TV the line costing us thousands of dollars. This could have easily been identified during the review process in the field. To avoid these types of problems and increase our efficiency and bottom line, we need to standardize our process from truck to truck, job to job, and TV Tech to TV Tech.

You may have multiple jobs in a day or week. To ensure proper preparation, it is a best practice to check your email daily and print out the following at the start of each week, if applicable: .

4.3 Reports

Notes:

Access the Weekly Install Schedule which will be in your email. This report shows the details of the line (i.e., date, segment, length, etc.).The missing post-video report will also be in your email. If you have any missing videos, follow up by uploading the missing video(s) and/or contact the Video Quality Department. Print the Cleaning Report for each line to use as a reference when doing the installation. Compare this report and confirm size, diameter and lateral count.
