• We use it to refer to different nationalities.

*REMEMBER: We use also the article a before a word that begins with a consonant sound.

-I would like to eat an apple.

And the article an before a vowel sound.

-I´m going to take a shower.

• We use it with plural countable nouns.

-I don't like pigeons.

• We use it with uncountable nouns.-I love beer.

• We use it with proper nouns.-Marie lives in Mexico.
