Search For Alien Existence: A Novel Approach

Abstract

Man and science have remained concerned andindulged in the quest of systematic search for aliensfor several decades now. Both, the scientists and thecommon people have been haunted by the possibilityof alien existence, which has led to emergence of agroup of strong propagators of their existence basedon unidentified flying objects (UFOs), alien encountersand abductions; however, a definite group of scientistscontinue to refute such a possibility. The search foraliens by Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence(SETI) and other agencies has not yet beenconvincing in either proving or disproving theirexistence, which could be attributed to a variableextent to the limitations of the technological measuresadopted for the same. With the belief of alienexistence in mind, the author in this brief articlepresents a novel approach in the quest for aliensearch based on interactive properties of the elusiveparticle, the Higgs boson and the possibility ofexistence of a multi-space-frame system on Earth.

Introduction

Ever since evolution, Man has always been intriguedand awed by numerousphenomena occurring in nature. With the advent of science however, he wasin duecourse of time, able to unravel many such incidentsonly to be confronted with more mysteries presentedby nature. With time he found himself entangled in thequestion on existence of mystical experiencespertaining to unidentified flying objects (UFOs),extra-terrestrial (ET) life and extra-sensory perception(ESP).Search for existence of aliens is a majorexperimentation that has attracted scientists’ interestsand haunted them for several decades. The chancesof alien existence as mathematically calculated areenormously large; the observations from HubbleSpace Telescope predicting some 6.25 x 109 (6.25billion) life-supporting planetary systems in theUniverse and an estimation of approximately 10,000such planets in the Milky Way Galaxy according toFrank Drake equation [1] with the possibility of ET lifebeing based on biochemistry and morphologicalevolution ["Ammonia-based life". daviddarling.info.

Search for Aliens

There have been several scientifically based probes inthe search for aliens, one of the foremost being SETI [SETI: Search For Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence].However, even with theories stipulating atmosphericchemical disequilibrium that can be detected byspectroscopy (Gaia hypothesis) [2] and expectedb e h a v i o r o f a l i e n - l i f e t o t r a n s m i tcommunication-signals in space, there has beenfailure in proving or even disproving alien existence.

Various claims have been made for evidence ofextraterrestrial life, such as those listed in a 2006 NewS c i e n t i s t a r t i c l e [http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn9943-top-10-controversial-pieces-of-evidence-for-extraterrestrial-life.html]

However, the major evidence that has keptalive the hopes of finding alien-life has been theseveral incidences of UFO-sightings, alien encountersand abductions [3] with a fair degree of consistence inthe reporting of such experiences. Indeed, several‘markers’ for identifying genuine UFOs have evenbeen issued off and on.

The Zeta Reticulata incident of alien abductionof Betty and Barney Hill is generally quoted as amemorable incidence on account of the evidencefurnished by the couple. In one study in 2003conducted at Harvard, seven out of ten abductees inhypnotized states were able to describe the testsconducted on them by the alien-abductors. Anotherincidence of abduction that has been cited in theliterature is that of a female whose abduction waswitnessed by two security personnel; the peculiarity inthis case being the abduction via a beam-path throughclosed windows and doors, thus apparently defyingthe mundane laws of Physics.

Several abductees have reported implants intheir bodies, which is believed to act as a tracking orhuman mind-controlling device.

However, a group of researchers does dismissthe idea of alien existence with propagation of Fermiparadox.

Author

The scientific community admits to the failure at arrivalof a consensus on the possibility of alien existence.Such an admission reflects limitation either atconceptual level or the designing of appropriatesearch-methodology.

This brief article proposes an approach that isbased on:

The hypothesized unique property of the1.hypothetical particle, the Higgs boson.Possibility of existence of multiple (or at least more2.than one) space-frames in which life can dwell/existin a yet un-thought of form.

The Higgs boson (the God particle)

The Higgs’ boson [4-5] is a hypothetical particle, theproperty of which is believed to impart mass to theother particles of matter. The author opines that mattermay exist in an inherent particulate (massless) formand acquires mass upon interaction with the boson, which the author terms as “bosonization”; thus, bosonization causes particles to acquire mass andconvert to massful form. Not only this, the massfulform also acquires the properties of matter and obeysthe mundane laws of science (especially Physics). However, the reversal of this interaction i.e.“de-bosonization” will cause the massful form to revertto its inherent particulate form (massless) that maydefy the mundane laws of science. Therefore, mattercan be present in bosonized (massful) andun-bosonized / de-bosonized (massless) forms in theUniverse. The bosonic interactions might beassociated with electromagnetic effects like emission(exo-luminal interaction) or absorption (endo-luminalinteraction) of electromagnetic radiation in the visibleor invisible large electromagnetic spectrum. Theauthor hypothesizes that existence of life therefore islikely to be associated more strongly and positivelywith electromagnetic disequilibrium than a chemicalone (Gaia hypothesis).

The Driving Force: But, what is the force that drivesthe particles to interact with the Higgs’ boson andacquire mass? Is it intrinsic (the inherent nature of the

particles to interact i.e. natural affinity for the boson) oris it under influence of an extrinsic force or technology? Can the aliens exist in un-bosonized form? Do theyposses the technology to operate the bosonicinteract ions and is their appearance anddisappearance on Earth based on their technologicalpowers on these reactions? Is the abduction alsobased on these powers? These and many moreanswers would be found only on the discovery of theboson. The discovery may also aid in understandingthe basis of visibility and invisibility or perceptibility andimperceptibility by the human brain.

Peter Higgs suggests that the whole space ispermeated by a field other than the well knownelectromagnetic field, which is known as Higgs fieldand particles while moving through this field, ifundergo interaction with it, acquire mass. It is possiblethat the Higgs field of Earth does not exist on allplanetary systems and ET l i fe (exist ing inun-bosonized form) that invades Earth inun-bosonized form either gets bosonized or remainsun-bosonized leading to the mysteries associated withthe alien-invasions. This may also account for thedefiance of science-laws that apply to Earth-matterand not to the aliens whose behavior therefore cannotbe explained by our science.

Such interactions and transformations therefore, make it all the more imperative to search and isolatethe boson if humans desire to come closer tounderstanding the origin of matter and alien-existence.

The preceding sections exhibit a possibility ofplanetary systems with and without Higgs field or evenelectromagnetic one. There is also a distinct possibilityof space-pervading field(s) other than the ones (Higgs, electromagnetic gravitational) existent on Earth. Therefore, the possibility of life and even matterexisting in an un-thought or un-imaginable form cannotbe ignored completely. This form of life and matterwould be compatible with the environment and thea l t o g e t h e r d i f f e r e n t f i e l d e x i s t e n t o nalien-inhabited-planets and therefore remainundetected by our means of detection andcommunication.

The famous physicist Paul Davis also suggestsexistence of 12 basic entities of matter based on theelectrons and corresponding quarks with differentspins leading to reasonable speculation that life andmatter may exist in 'other' forms depending on thecombination of muon or tauon with different quarkpairs.

Further, there is a possibility (even thoughremote) of the physical matter on Earth being

influenced by forces other than those known to Manand science and that may be the cause of theunexplainable changes in our planetary behavior. These forces might be even influencing or contributingto the genetic mutations in life-forms of Earth thatresult in various consequences including evolutionaryalterations.

Multi space-framehypothetical model Another possibility that needs exploration is theexistence of other forms of fields on Earth itself. Theauthor hypothesizes existence of a multi-space-framemodel akin to a city with a network of flyovers andsubways that form several space-frames, each onebeing pervaded by a field of its own and inhabited bydifferent forms of ‘life’ unaware of each other’spresence in general.

These different space-frames may be the other‘realms’ that are commonly speculated. The differentspace-frames may connect with each other at variousintersection/transition points or regions, the occasionaltransition (trespassing) of inhabitants at which leads tomysterious or alien-encounter experiences that may ormay not be associated with simultaneous interaction ofthe different fields also that further confounds thecomplexity of the encounters or experiences. Thetransition at times may be disastrous and lead to thetrespasser being lost permanently. The mysteriousBermuda Triangle could be one such transition region.

The different space-frames could beassociated with their own time-frames (time-zones)also, which would add to the mysteries of nature andfurther confound the attempts at search for alien life.

Conclusion

Thus, this hypothesis envisages a possibility of alienexistence based on the characteristics of the Godparticle, the boson and the multi-space-frame concept. The hypothesized approach to alien search may yieldsome useful information towards reaching outsuccessfully to our co-inhabitants in the Universe.
