Prague, Kutna Hora, Cesky Krumlov, Lednice and Vienna

Let us take you on the holiday of your dreams. We will show you breathtakingly beautiful parts of Czech Republic and the majestic city of Vienna in Austria. We organise everything for you; accommodation, dinners, sightseeing, travel, entertainment, painting tuition with

art materials included and for those who don’t paint we have plenty of entertainment. All you have to do is come along, enjoy and have fun.

11th - 13th June We will welcome you in Prague “The city of a hundred spires” on your arrival with a glass of champagne. Our hotel is situated right in the historical centre of Prague, a short stroll from the Charles Bridge. During the next three days we will be discovering the beauty of this city and its gardens and learning about the amazing history of Prague. Each day we will find the time to sketch, taste the Czech cuisine with its fantastic black beer, there will even be time for a concert or theatre and some shopping.

14th – 15th June On the evening of 14th June we arrive to the Unesco protected town of Kutna Hora, the most important political and economical centre of Bohemia during the 14th and 15th centuries. Its medieval centre and the Church of St. Barbara, a jewel of the late Gothic period, testify to the cultural vivacity of the area.

16th – 19th June We leave Kutna Hora to visit another Unesco protected medieval town Cesky Krumlov. On our way there we will visit a fairy-tale looking chateau Hluboka, originally a guarding castle in the mid 13th century. We spend 4 nights in Cesky Krumlov and become part of Five-Petal Rose Celebrations. This traditional festival stretches way back to the Austrio-Hungarian empire times. The spirit of the renaissance age is brought back to life for three days with the hubbub of jousts, craft fairs, medieval music, street plays and fencing duels to culminate in a spectacular procession of nobleman and knights on horsebacks.

20th – 21st June We make our way to South Moravia in the Czech Republic to visit yet another Unesco listed town Lednice. The palace of Lednice began its life as a Renaissance villa and in the 17th century became a summer residence of the ruling Princes of Liechtenstein. It contains the largest park in the country covering 200 square km.

22nd – 24th June From Lednice it is only 100km to our next destination Vienna, capital and largest city of Austria. The tour of the city will show us the most significant historical sights, such as the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Parliament, the City Hall, Belvedere Palace, which houses the largest collection of Gustav Klimt paintings and much more. We will experience the historical, cultural and artistic highlights of Vienna, dine in style and have some time to sketch and shop.
