Open to all High School students in Pembroke, Duxbury and Hanson. Selected works will be hung in the historic Doric Hall at the Massachusetts State House! WHO IS ELIGIBLE? All high school aged students from Pembroke, Duxbury or Hanson. Any student attending Whitman- Hanson RHS is also eligible. WHAT IS ELIGIBLE? Any original work completed by the student within the past year. WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES? The categories are: photography, paintings, drawing & pastels and mixed media. There will also be an award for Best in Show. The judges at their discretion may add additional categories based on entries. HOW MAY ENTRIES PER STUDENT? Each student may submit up to 3 entries total regardless of category. There is no fee to enter. HOW SHOULD ENTRIES BE SUBMITTED? Entries must be submitted in a format suitable for hanging. An entry form must be submitted with all artwork. HOW DO I GET AN ENTRY FORM? They are available on Rep. Cutler’s website at www. joshcutler.com or by emailing Rep. Cutler’s aide at [email protected]. WHAT IS THE DEADLINE? The deadline for submitting artwork with entry form is September 29 at 5pm. WHERE DO I DELIVER ARTWORK? All entries should be delivered to Rep. Cutler’s district ofﬁce at 235 Washington Street (Rte. 53) in Pembroke. HOW WILL THE WORKS BE JUDGED? A panel of local artists from the three towns will judge the works and select the winners. All contest decisions are at the judge’s sole discretion. WHERE WILL THE WORKS BE DISPLAYED? Artwork will be displayed in the historic Doric Hall of our State Capital in Boston from October 6 through October 17. In addition an online gallery of all winning entries will be posted to Rep. Cutler’s website to showcase students’ work. IS THERE A RECEPTION? Yes, all participants will be invited to an Opening Reception to be held at the Massachusetts State House on Friday, October 10th starting at 5:00p.m. WILL I GET THE ARTWORK BACK? Yes, once the show ends works will be available for pick up at Rep. Cutler’s district ofﬁce in Pembroke. WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION? Contact Rep.
