Story Board


Character: Mark Rider


Young and old.

This is Mark Rider age 20. His high determination has helped push his career way beyond what he thought he ever could, being the youngest person to get a job at the space lighthouse watch on his first try. Once reaching the lighthouse he found someone he never expected.

Mark Rider age 38. with the loss of Jane Star, Mark joins the army to protect earth from more alien invasions. Being in the army for the past 18 years, Mark has become a battle harden veteran both on land and sky that he will do what ever is necessary to win, even give his own life.


Character: Jane Star


This is Jane Star age 22. She has worked at the space lighthouse for a year alone. With her being at the top of her class at training camp she will be in charge of one of the new lighthouses that was believed to be able to be run by just one person, later to find out that the system that was meant to help was not completely fool proof. Jane was later told a new guy would be joining her to help out… she was not impressed.


Environments

This is a newly built lighthouse with two pine forests to make a better life system. Both the forests and air filters help to create a nice, friendly liveable environment. The main function of these space lighthouses are to guide spaceships to and from earth safely. These lighthouses were first built to look out for alien life, but with in 10,000 years no signs of alien life was found, so they were converted. Before these were put in place spaceship crashes were a common thing, now with these in place it is the safest way the travel.

Human spaceships

These are the human spaceships, designed to look unthreatening in any surrounding and to be pleasing to the eye. With the space travel being the best way to travel anywhere, theses spaceships are still the same design as the original spaceship, just every new spaceship has an upgrade from the last one.

Alien spaceship

This is the alien spaceship. I designed it this way as it is the completely opposite of the human spaceship. Due to is spikiness you can tell straight way the difference between the human and alien spaceship. I liked how the spikes give of a look of if I crash into a human ship it would just tear it apart and be unscathed making it a deadly foe.

Laser cutter

This is the portable laser cutter that Mark would use to cut down the pine tree to give to Jane as a gift. As you can see the device opens open at each stage, going from a hand held portable device to a fully functioning laser cutter.
