College and Community Partnerships 716-878-4132 or www.buffalostate.edu/partnerships Mrs. Deborah Allen’s fifth grade art students from Mullen Elementary in Tonawanda partnered with Dr. Cheryl Hamilton’s art education students at Buffalo State College to review each other’s Art-in-a-Box projects. All the students started with the same box for their group, diligently researched their topics, completed the visuals and art activities for review and comparison. This partnership brings college and elementary students together to explore critical thinking and creative solutions through art.
