WINTER’S EVE AT LINCOLN SQUARE is produced by the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District (BID) whose mission is to make Lincoln Square cleaner, safer, & more beautiful, & to undertake various improvement projects. We focus our efforts on supplemental sanitation & security services; the beautification of public spaces, malls, & parks; & the promotion & marketing of the area’s diverse business & cultural offerings. The Lincoln Square BID acts as a catalyst working with business, community & city partners to promote positive change in Lincoln Square. Our programs & initiatives, including Winter’s Eve, are designed to showcase the rich & varied resources of this vibrant Upper West Side neighborhood.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS The Lincoln Square BID gives special thanks to our generous sponsors & Board of Directors, our Clean Team & Public Safety Officers, P.J. Clarke’s, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Related Companies & The Shops at Columbus Circle, The Walt Disney Company & the entire WABC-TV team, Streetplus, NYC Mayor’s Office of Citywide Event Coordination & Management, NYPD, FDNY, NYC Departments of Transportation, Parks & Recreation, Sanitation, Health, Consumer Affairs, Environmental Protection, Small Business Services, CB7, CB4, Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Opera, Raymour & Flanigan, American Folk Art Museum, & all of the neighborhood stores, restaurants, organizations, artists & volunteers that help make this event a success.
Thanks to New York Cares for providing volunteers during Winter’s Eve.
Winter’s Eve at Lincoln Square’s multicultural performances have been made possible in part with funding from New York City Council Member Helen Rosenthal.
Holiday lights in the Broadway Malls are supported in part by Con Edison & Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Boxed dinners for volunteers & talent have been made possible in part thanks to NYIT.
About the Tree This year’s Concolor Fir comes from Domes Tree Farm located in Bliss, New York. The tree was installed by the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation & features old-fashioned silver glass glitter ornaments by Tinsel Trading.
