parent company, Arrow investigates metallurgical structures with the aid of an electron microscope, a spectrograph and other

sophisticated s cientific equipment. Test samples ver ify production quality and evaluate experimental materials. Environment tests

are performed in controlled atmo spheres w ith co rros ive gases and chemicals, extreme temperatures and critical pressures. Not

only metallurgy is explored, but elastomers and seals are tested as well. Arrow Oil Tools explores the full range of material

performance through its testing program.

Shear Packers are designed

fo r water injection, medium

range pressure, and pump-

ing well production service.

The SL Packer can be set

in tension or compression,

however, the SL Shear can

only be set in tension. Both

is an inexpensive means of

isolating casing leaks as

well as for use between

zones in multiple injection

CHEVRON SEALS

The Chevron Seal Assem-

bly consists of Nitrile Chev-

ron type seals with metal

spacers. These seals are

recommended for non-

corrosive, moderate temper-

ature completions. Chevron

Seals should not be used in

installations where seals

move out of the packer

bore.

PREMIUM SEALS

The Premium Seal Assem-bly uses Viton-Ryton-Teflon

alternately to affect a pre-

mium seal in H2S or COa. It

can also be used in high

The Arrow Latch-down or Lock-down cementing plug replaces

the conventional displacement plug. Th e plug prevents the

cement slurry fro m re-entering the casing after cementing is

The Arrow Multi-Stage packer collar functions

similarly to the Arrow Multi-Stage cementing col-

lar. The major difference is a packing element

which expands and supports a cement column

placed above it, and provides a seal between n-

tervals to be cemented and the zone below.

CEMENT PORT COLLAR 230

The Arrow Cement Port Collar is utilized fo r full

access through casing to formations fo r stage

cementing or treating without the use of plugs

and seats that require drillout. The port collar

locks in the open and closed position but may

be reopened or closed as often as necessary

with a special shifting tool.
