SyllabusBring the following to class every day: composition book, binder with paper, or spiral notebook pencil & correcting pen Calculator (I recommend purchasing a TI-84 Graphing Calculator – This is a worthwhile
investment. You will use this calculator this year, throughout your high school career, and in college. It is ACT and SAT approved.)
Grading1. We will follow the grading scale outlined in the student handbook:
90-100% A80-89% B70-79% C60-69% D0-59% F
Your grade will be calculated based on the following20% assignments70% assessments10% quick checks
Syllabus2. Daily work will be graded for completion. It is your responsibility to obtain and complete late work due to absence or carelessness. Extra copies will be available at the back of the classroom and on the class website: http://westada.org/Domain/793
3. Make-up tests must be scheduled by you and can only be completed during break, Colt Time, lunch, or advisory. It is your responsibility.
4. Pay attention to the Late Work Cut Off Dates. This will be your last chance to retake any quizzes or tests and turn in assignments.
5. Check PowerSchool regularly to keep yourself aware of your grade at all times. See me if you have any questions or concerns about your grade.

beginning of every math class.It is worth two points: one for completion and
one for accuracy.
