Are You A Fashionista? A Look at the Fashion Industry

In this “Weeks Without Walls” experience, NMC students had the opportunity to learn from

local fashion designers about starting a business, and about the processes of designing,

branding, and advertising.

Students learned about where the clothes

we wear every day come from and about

the downside of “fast fashion”. They also

learned ways to make more ethical fashion

choices.

Our NMC students then spent an informative

and fun-filled afternoon with a professional

photographer , learning about being in front

and behind the camera.
