A festival that concludes the 12 Days of Christmas.

There is a “Lord of Misrule” appointed to “preside over the Christmas festivities.”

On this day the King and all those who were high would become the peasants and vice versa. At the beginning of the twelfth night festival a cake which contained a bean was eaten. The person who found the bean would run the feast. Midnight signaled the end of his rule and the world would return to normal

Main Plot: Viola, who has been shipwrecked, is looking for her twin brother Sebastian. In her search for her brother, she pretends to be a boy in order to get hired by the local Duke. Meanwhile, the Duke is in love with Olivia…

Sub Plot: Several characters conspire to make Olivia’s snotty head servant, Malvolio, believe that Olivia wants to marry him!
