Gallery Rachel is an art gallery which is located in the Thamrin 9 building, Jakarta. The project is interior scale. So basically the idea of the gallery is simple and clean interior. Using white colour for walls and ceilings, also using concrete for the floor, are to cre-ate simple and clean atmosphere inside gallery.

GALLERY ENTRANCEThe entrance concept is to bring an entrance atmo-sphere which looks like entering the deep hole or tunnel. Entrance of the ceiling goes down directly to the entrance door, it makes tighten hole impression, and also to create private atmosphere for the gallery

entrance. When gallery is closed, guests could look inside gallery through the vertical glass.

The exhibition area is designed without ceiling or us-ing bare concrete ceiling. The purpose is to create bigger room for exhibition and also to make deep impression for the visitors after entering the “hole” entrance.

OM Clinic is one of clinic in Indonesia which gives therapy for the difable patients. The clinic is located in Thamrin 9 Building, Jakarta. There are waiting room, receptionist room, gym area, public massage area and private massage area inside the clinic.

At the gym and massage area, they use indirect light for the main lighting and downlight as the second-ary lighting. It is because if therapy begins and the patients has to lay down at the bed, then they have to face ceiling off, the downlight could be turn off and use indirect light for the general lighting.

The idea of the Facade is to make the clinic room become private area, but some how you could see through inside by the bottom glass or receptionist’s glass.

Vertical Theme Park is student final project which is located in Jakarta. The idea of vertical theme park is because the limited area for recreation in a big city like Jakarta. Usually, to build a theme park, needs a big area or land. However the land in Jakarta is re-ally limited and expensive, so there is a solution to to build the theme park not as horizontally but as verti-cally.

Continuity is the concept of the theme park. There are some gardens which are arranged in accordance with the concept of continuity placement. Location of each gardens are spinned to every second floor.

The idea of basic buidling form is implemented from movements and circulation of people in theme park which is dynamic and spherical/continuity.

Vertical Theme Park has in total 19 floors, included 16 floors ftor theme park and 3 floors for basement. The theme park has a lot of amusement vehicles, such as roller coaster, giant drop, swing, merry go round, 4D cinema, and many more.

02.02 HILUX KOSTJAKARTA, INDONESIA - 2011dormitoryw.officedesign architect

Hilux Kost is the dormitory project which is located in Kemanggisan, Jakarta. The area of the site is 12 x54 sqm. Because of the site is quite long, so there is some considerations to have some open comunal/shared space, in order to have a good air circulation.

The open comunal/shared place is also could be used for the dormitory’s people. Vertical circulation is located in the center and back of the building which is also for emergency used.

Lite House is a houses project in Sentul, Indonesia. The idea of the facade is come from contemporary and modern facade. The idea is implemented by us-ing the modern and geometry shape for the facade of the house. The materials for the house are mostly using white painted wall and wood. White painted means lightness (liteness) and clean, somehow wood means elegancy.

Lite Houses are divided to several kinds of houses types based on the size and contoured site. For the large size types, there are large downslope type and large flat type.

For the medium size types, there are medium up-slope type, medium downslope type, and medium flat type. Then for the small size types, there are small downslope type and small flat type.

02.04 KUNINGAN PERSADA MIXED-USEJAKARTA, INDONESIA - 2012office, retail, apartmentpt. airmas asridesign architect

Kuningan Persada Mixed Use is a Mixed Use Project which is contain Office, Retail, and Apartment. Kun-ingan Persada is believed that would become one of the icon in Jakarta which is expressing contemporary of the modern life in Jakarta.

The office concept is inspired by the name of owner group which is PT. Wings Group. The building mass is formed from the folding of the bird’s wing. And for office canopy drop off area is also formed by bird’s wing.

The apartment consists of 2 similar tower, with twin

tower concept. Apartment facade has horizontal lou-vers such as shading to reduce heat insulation.

There is two layers of circulation in this project, one for the pedestrian circulation and the other one is for the vehicles circulation. It is designed to separate pe-destrian way and vehicles way, also in order to have a convinience and safety pedestrian way.

AXC Mixed Use is located in residential area in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, Indonesia. AXC Mixed Use contains of one tower of Office, four tower of Apartments, some House-Offices and Retails.

The Office concept is modern and high end, with fa-cade is almost using glasses. Apartment concept is modern and elegant with using glass and brown colour. And for every unit apartment has at least one balcony. It is designed for the owner of apartment so they can enjoy view of swimming pool, courtyard, or the city.

The idea of the courtyard and swimming pool is come from Valley City. Using valley city to increase the qual-ity of life and care environment. It is also to create an natural view for building around especially for the apartment’s recidents.

The Atmosphere Apartment is two towers of apart-ment which is located in Kuningan, Jakarta. With high-end concept for apartment, The Atmosphere is believed that can be a new icon in Kuningan.

The Atmosphere Apartment is divided into two tow-ers, which are one for private lobby lift and the other for shared lobby lift.

As this project is named The Atmosphere, so for build-ing concept is also implemented by the atmosphere, which means layer of gases surrounding a material body of sufficient mass that is held in place by the

gravity of the body. So for the building facade is using folding glass as an implementation of different layers of gases which is folded. And tower’s crowns are also using folding glasses.
