family houseEL ESPINAR, SEGOVIA, SPAIN
Sep- Nov 2012House restoration and fi rst fl oor extension.
The client requirements were mainly focused on two aspects: a contemporary design based on clean simple lines and an easy budget construction. The only element kept intact from the original construction was a valuable perimetral stone wall in the ground fl oor. New spaces of the house were fi tted into this wall, organized in two fl oors. One of the driver premises in the facade design was to maximize natural daylight.

physiotherapy clinicFUENLABRADA, MADRID
Project July 2012NovaFisio Salud S.L.
This project is a transformation of an empty space with large perimetral windows into a physiotheraphy and osteopathy clinic.Light and colour were the instruments to create a comfortable and relaxing space. The most important thing during the designing process was the suitable distribution of rooms and the economy of the constructive system, keeping the original fl oor, the suspended ceiling and the windows.

Final Project March 2012ETSAM, Architecture School of the Technical University of Madrid
The mission of a Time Bank is to expand a movement that promotes equality and builds caring community economies through inclusive exchange of time and talent. Essentially, the “time” one spends providing community services earns “time” that one can spend to receive other activities. In this way, the project tries to focus on public and communal space, where people can meet before the service exchange. The space has to be fl exible to allow the diversity of activities, which can change every day, depending on the supply and demand.

Metallic facadePerforated metal facade
The external facade is solved with a perforated metal skin. It begins
in the first floor in order to control the privacy of the rooms and
also the lightness. It is composed of four kinds of steel panels with a
different percentage of voids. The pattern of voids combines perfora-
tions with deformations to increase the stiffness.
modern art museumOOSTENDE, BELGIUM
Semester project during ERASMUS programKatholieke Universiteit Leuven
The museum sites in a dune fi eld beside the sea in the north of Belgium. It has to be a small building that contains some representative works of Modern Art.The main idea is to create pieces inserted in the landscape like the `stones´ around it: there are several bunkers and a fort of Napoleon. The activities developed in the museum are independently organized in boxes, connected by a lower platform. The spaces between the boxes are viewpoints oriented to the sea and to the landscape.

Battery Park
4th year Semester ProjectETSAM, Architecture School of the Technical University of Madrid
The project arises as a continuation of the pedestrian tourist route from Battery Park to Wall Street with a new point of reference: the intermodal transportation hub. The overlapping levels are generated from the movement and necessities of every mean of transpor-tation. There are also shops and a restaurant.

cross section / city tourLEUVEN, BELGIUM
Project for Landscape Urbanism during ERASMUS programKatholieke Universiteit Leuven
This schematic map of Leuven is based on the Basic Rules of the Grady Clay Cross Section. The American landscaper defi nes a cross section as a representative route of a city. It explores the historic district and the most important points of Leuven but also the hidden spaces just off the main routes. The cross section is constantly looking for the con-trast between areas, so you experience the city as you move forward. The transition from one space to another is not abrupt but natural.

Project for Landscape in New Urban TerritoriesETSAM, Architecture School of the Technical University of Madrid
These three villages are located in the north of Madrid, inserted in a natural mountainous environment. The landscape has been degraded in recent decades due to low quality urban practices. This proposal is a territo-rial regeneration that tries to improve the accessibility and connection between villages. It also enhances the transition between urban development and nature or agricultural land. New architectural structures and infrastructures are used as instruments.
