PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT

B FACTORYThis is a chocolate factory that needed a big indor space for the production and storage of the candy. The concept is based on the curvature of sea shells. The very unique form they have enables them to hold their shape resisting a lot of weight, the surface curva-tures give the shell additional support work-ing as a structure. I applied the same prop-erties of shape and structure to this cover, giving it strength and structure.

SIBONEYThe aim was to create a co!ee shop for the Si-boney Co!ee Co. I based the general design on a synthesized version of a co!e bean, that I turned up using in a lot of elements in the shop. The logo was inspired by it, the display, lamps, and of course we had to design co!ee bean chairs as well. For the colors I wanted to create a contrast of the darkness and inten-sity of the reds and browns, projecting the di!erent colors the beans go thought in their preparation before turning into delicious co!ee.

MAGDALAThis weekend house was conceptualized for a couple that enjoys nature and like to get away to the forest. Both the main bedroom, study and living room have views to the out-side landscape, so the user feels he is out-doors while being in the comfort of his home. The whole concept of the house accentuates and focuses the attention to the outside.

NOVUSNovus is a multipurpose building that has living, commercial and corporative sections. The concept originated with the idea of hav-ing one center and having the project evolve around it and grow throughout the site cre-ating a continuous "ow connecting all the building typologies with the surrounding views and buildings.

B StoreThis is the interior design for a candy store, I wanted to re"ect the quirkiness of the brand by having an explosion of clean curvy shapes as the candy display that mark the path for the guest around the store focusing on the main focal points, which is the bulk candy wall. I wanted the colors and furniture on the store to be as minimal as possible so the can-dy’s own color and shape can stand out and appeal the customer.

CEDSThis is a prefabricated sustainable education center conceptualized on Me’ phaa, Guer-rero. It incorporates natural lighting in all of its rooms. The project will have high planters surrounding it made from adobe. The plants here will help keep the building cool. The construction system incorporates material to keep the temperature on the building com-fortable. It has water collecting systems on the tanks hidden by the planters.

OAXACA PAVILLIONThis is project I entered for a contest about pavilions representing the culture, customs of each state of the country. I based my de-sign on a local tradition of basket making, which is in essence intertwining dry straws into a design that creates porosity on the surfaces that can carry a lot of weight. Incor-porating it on the design, it de#nes the space and leaves space for circulations.

TAMPIQUITO LIBRARYThis project had to be coehisive with a park and incorporate a library, exhibition room and reading areas. The concept comes from the site itself, being located in a hill; this cre-ated all sorts of possibilities to design the building generating organic forms that pro-mote transit and invites the user to discover palaces within. The design incorporates a natural ventilating system by using the ver-tical transportation tubes that at the same time bring natural light into the building "oors.
