The “Architecture for Refugees” is an open sourceonline platform which collects and shares questions,problems, ideas and solutions dealing with thearchitectural aspects of the current refugee crisison the European and global scale. In our modernsociety information and the access to knowledgeare key values. Creating an open source pool ofinformation and knowledge could enhance thecollaborative work between activists, refugees,professionals and politicians. As a result of thecollaborative work, organised and fast answerscould be given to the shelter- and infrastructuralproblems of the refugee crisis.Currently, we use our Facebook “Architecture forRefugees” public page and public group to collectand share information. We are looking for short- andlong-term solutions on local and global level. It isour aim to develop the accessibility of the platform:a user friendly, multilingual homepage which wouldserve as the optimal pool for sharing and collecting.
