ARCHITECTURAL STUDY

Gap site on Námest ie 1. mája is an impor tant connect ion point be-tween Kolar square ang Grasalkovičs garden. This fact is clear ly seen especia l ly nowadays because the locat ion is vacant . A traffic street needs to be open and not close. I tr ied to join this project from the student´s point of view. My solut ion is a Student House. In my draf t I don´t deal only with the bui lding. I tr ied to create new space for students and people in the centre of the city. My aim is to breathe l i fe to this object . My react ion to the noise of Banskobystr icka street is to pick the par -terre up. This solut ion offers theatr ica l entrance to publ ic places. An-other advantage of this solut ion is poss ibi l i ty to create park ing places on the first above ground floor. This publ ic space wi l l resulted into Grasalkovičs garden, which is considered for separate publ ic place. This project offers great oppor tunity to see Brat is lava city from the walkable roof.

Grasalkovičs Garden

This locat ion is considered to be dif -ficult terr i tory in term of sunl i t . The object is conformed to several condi -t ions too

The most impor tant idea of this project is not to close the gap site. On the contrary I cut through Námest ie 1. mája with Bansko-bystr icka street and Grasalkovičs Garden.

The connect ion offers new oppor tuni -et ies and invites people from around.

Ful l publ ic space is achived for a community. Different happenings, games and per formances are hold.

Parking is on three underground floors that provide parking for 140 cars. Need circular drive provides parking lots filling up the top floor down, which can lowest floor in case of closure of wasted electricity and ven-tilation, thereby greatly saving the cost of running the building. The lowest floors are placed heat pumps that support green building concept. On the 1st floor are located the boiler room and public toilets which are accessible from the ground floor. Hood platform with extensive greening to the public and students. The roof is also equipped with solar panels that produce electricity for the building and operation of the heat pumpump, which appears to be the building independence from external energy sources.

Parter concept is designed as a transition from the first Square May to Grasalkovič garden. It is this patrer be foreland and access to the garden, but with the social uses that the area has to offer. It is divided into two parts, and a space with benches, greenery and the first staircase and the central part of which is used for social use. It varies according to the needs and variable. CONCLUSION OF TECHNOLOGICAL CONCEPT

In the project Stu dent Hou se I tried to solve the issu e of ecolog ical concept. I have u sed Hi-tech technolog y and m odern technolog y. There are m any com panies and produ cts for u sing so therefore I have choosen only the produ cts, w hich I consider to by adequ ate for m y project.

The m ost im portant factor, w hich influ ences ecolog ical concept of the bu ilding is to redu ce an am ou nt of energ y u sed by bu ilding . In m y project I trie to redu ce consu m ption by w iring w ich intelig ent m anag em ent system . It is off er from INEL S com pany. I u se L ED technolog y from OSRA M com pany too.

There are m any devices on the m ark et, w hich are u sed to su pport su stainable developm ent. I have u sed heat pu m p from STIEBEL EL TRON com pany. This heat pu m ps g et the energ y from the earth. This energ y is u sed for heating TUV. The room s are heated by floor convectors from ISA N com pany. Indoor clim ate and nice appearance of stu dy room s, w ork room s and other places pro-vide w indow s of alu m inu m facade from REYNA ERS com pany. The facade is ensu red ag aints over overheating and su nlit too. I u sed fabric FERRA RI.

The w alk able roof is provided by extensive g reening . The view s of the city are g iven from roof terraces. W e can find sollar collectors SCHUCO on the roof too. This collectors are u sed to pro-d u ction of an electricity from su nlig ht. The heat pu m ps are ru n on this solar energ y too. A rainw ater is retained to bins EL W A , w hich are located in boilers on the first su blevel. The rainw ater is than distribu ted into bu ilding for re-u se in toilets, irrig ation of g reen areas and in case of a fire.

There are other bu ilding s in su rrou ding , therefore there is a need to isolate the bu ilding . There are m any insu lating m aterials on the m ark et, w hich off er qu ality in isolating the bu ilding s, for exam ple STOM IS? POLYFORM , BA SF.

URBAN AND ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION

PARKHILLarea of old amfiteater

PHILOSOPHY OF CONCEPT

The main philosophy of concept is in three basic principles which result from designed area - slope, orientation and traf-fic connection.

_module_The structure of parking house, walkable terraces and build-ings is made by regular modular network in dimension 7500x7500mm. It provides high modular coordination.

_houses_With help of modular network are houses oriented so that every house has three facades on sun side

_plató_Plató like means of expression reference to the carry old am-phiteather seating which burned

The solution is characterized by its simplicity. Despite the use of only one type of object, the project did not look mo-notonous, but just his deployment, shooting a descent upon the field retains its identity and creates a small town called Parkhill, with logically arranged amenities and residence areas. High value it adds natural greenery in the form of chestnut gardens and adjacent Mountain park.

SCHEME OF CONCEPTLocation of buildings, spacing and rotation is determined by regular network module, which maintains the backlight always thought the three facades of the building. This solution is based on the field to the complex to be used for residential pur-poses. Therefore it was necessary to take iinto account the need to make the most sunlit apartment buildings.

Parking areas are designed around three underground parking houses with 45 ° di-agonal parking with one-way traffic. The in-tention is to create a residential area with-out perceivable cars
