B. Vinyl: High impact polyvinyl chloride (PVC), velvet-textured.

1. Vinyl Properties: Conforms with the NFPA Class A fire rating.

a. Surface Burning Characteristics (ASTM E 84): Flame spread 10, smoke developed 350-450; maximum.

b. Surface Burning Characteristics (CAN/ULC S102.2): Flame spread 15, smoke developed 35; maximum.

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** The following option applies to Models 150DBN and 160DBN only that use Rigid Vinyl Sheet. Delete materials if not required.

c. Surface Burning Characteristics: Provide UL Classified rigid vinyl sheet; as determined by UL 723, for sheet installed with 3M Fastbond 30, shall be flame spread of 10 and smoke development of 95-140 for .040 inch (1 mm) thick material or flame spread of 15 and smoke development of 300 for .060 inch (1.5 mm) thick material. C. G2 BioBlend: High impact Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG), with an velvet-textured finish.

1. Properties:

a. Fire Performance Characteristics: Provide sheet material conforming to the NFPA Class A fire rating. Surface burning characteristics, as determined by ASTM E 84, shall be flame spread of 25 or less and smoke development of 450 or less.

b. Impact Strength: Provide materials that have been tested in accordance with the applicable provisions of ASTM D 256, Impact Resistance of Plastics.

c. Chemical and Stain Resistance: Provide material that shows resistance to stain when tested in accordance with applicable provisions of ASTM D 543.

d. Fungal and Bacterial Resistance: Provide material that does not support fungal or bacterial growth as tested in accordance with ASTM G 21 and ASTM G 22.

2. Color Consistency: Provide components matched in accordance with SAE J-1545 - (Delta E) with a color difference no greater than 1.5 units using CIE Lab, CIE CMC, CIE LCh, Hunter Lab or similar color space scale systems.

3. Certification: Provide GREENGUARD Certified material. Profiles shall meet GREENGUARD requirements of Certification Standards for Low-Emitting Products and Product Emission Standard for Children and Schools.

D. Wood: FAS grade, kiln dried, solid red oak with moisture content of 5-9 percent.

E. Wood: FAS grade, kiln dried, solid maple with moisture content of 5-9 percent.

F. Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Wood: Shall be kiln dried solid FSC Ash.

G. Bamboo: Shall be 100 percent bamboo, kiln dried, with a moisture content of 7-10 percent.

H. Aluminum for Retainers: Alloy 6063-T5, in accordance with ASTM B 221; mill finish.

I. Aluminum for Corner Guards: Alloy 5005-H34, clear anodized finish.

2.3 PROTECTIVE WALL BASE

A. High Impact Wall Base: As manufactured by Inpro; 4 inches (102 mm) height x 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) depth, with continuous aluminum retainer.

1. Vinyl snap on cover, .080 inch (2 mm) thick, continuous aluminum retainer of .060 inch (1.5 mm) thickness fabricated from 6063-T5 aluminum, mill finish.

2. End caps, outside corners and inside corners shall be made of injection molded thermoplastics.

2.4 PROTECTIVE WALL COVERING

A. Protective Wall Covering: IPC rigid poly vinyl chloride sheet as manufactured by Inpro.

1. Texture: Velvet-Textured.

2. Surface Burning Characteristics: Provide UL Classified IPC Rigid Vinyl Sheet conforming with the NFPA Class A fire rating. Surface burning characteristics as determined by UL 723 (ASTM E 84), for IPC Rigid Vinyl Sheet installed with 3M Fastbond 30, Inpro Bond Adhesive, or Formulated Solutions, LLC XT- 2000+ inch Adhesive shall be a maximum flame spread of 20 and a maximum smoke developed of 350 for .060 inch (1.5 mm) thick material. Provide ULC (Canada) listed IPC Rigid Vinyl Sheet conforming to the requirements of the National Building Code of Canada, Subsection 3.1.13. Surface burning characteristics, as determined by CAN/ULC-S102.2, shall be flame spread of 15 and smoke developed of 30.

3. Self Extinguishing: Provide rigid vinyl sheet with a CC1 classification, as tested in accordance with the procedures specified in ASTM D 635, Standard Test Method for Rate of Burning and/or Extent and Time of Burning of Self-Supporting Plastics in a Horizontal Position, as referenced in UBC 52-4.

4. Provide sheet materials that have been tested and results filed in compliance with article 15, part 1120 of the New York State uniform fire prevention and building code. DOS No. 09960-930504-4001.
