As part of the festivities we will be planting trees at the Medical Center Shelterbelt site, 401 West Camas, Fairfield. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the planting or if you would like to contribute monetarily to the project, please contact the Camas Conservation District. There will also be free blue spruce

seedlings, educational packets with coloring pages, word games, tattoos, etc. for children and we will be raffling a tree to some lucky winner!” ❦

The road to Mormon Reservoir is back! New bridge spans the last gap! County staff set the new bridge deck spanning the overflow channel Monday! Traffic is set to resume on the long-closed access Thursday night. The county was able to re-purpose a veteran set of scale platforms, obtained used in Picabo, as a thrifty new deck for this key bridge in the Camas County road network! ❦
