Ken’s original arrangements and distinctive vocal interpretations make every performance memorable and special. Audiences love his sense of swing and the way he delivers each lyric as if it were his own. Ken sings from the heart straight to the heart of his audience. Ken’s concert programs are suited to a wide range of venues, from jazz clubs, nightclubs, and cabarets to corporate events, private parties, hotels, resorts, art galleries, embassies, colleges and universities, and fundraisers. Combining a wealth of information about American popular classics with a talent for storytelling, Ken also offers lecture-performances and seminars. Classically trained in theater, voice and dance, Ken Greves made his solo debut as a vocalist in April, 2000, at Dont Tell Mama with his program, Who The Hell Is Harold Arlen?! Shortly thereafter, he encountered Trudi Mann and her open jazz mic and immersed himself in the world of jazz. In April, 2006, Ken launched a new program, Last Night When We Were Young Aspects of Arlen, at Dannys Skylight Room in New York City. Accompanied by the Tedd Firth quartet, this popular show comprises songs from Broadway, Hollywood and Tin Pan Alley, and explores the many facets of Arlen’s extraordinary contribution to the Great American Songbook. Ken recently released NIGHT PEOPLE in the spring of 2015 at Cafe Noctambulo in NYC. He is currently at work with more Arlen material anda new show entitled SO IT'S SPRING! Ken currently has three CD's available on iTunes, CDBaby and Amazon.
