IntroductionTowelsareavailableinmanysorts,sizesandweights.Theyareproducedinagreatnumberofcountriesintheworld.A&RTowelsandBathrobesareonlycomingfromthelandwherethebestcottonisgrownaccordinglytomanypeople,thecountryofTurkey.AllourproductshavebeenmadewithcarefromthebestQualityTurkishCottonandweofferthewidestrangeoffreshandbrightcolours.A&RstartedinMarch2009whenwemadeourfirststepsintothemarketinDubaiwherewelateronexhibitedatTheHotelShow,whichisfullyfocusedonthesupplyanddesignofthehotelsintheMiddleEast.Hereweprovidehigh-qualityhotelqualitytowelsintheweights600and750gramsandbathrobes.Hotelproductcollectionsarecolorfast,canbemachinewashedinlargelaundriesbutalsoathomeinthemachineat95degrees.TheseproductsaremadetoorderfromourfactoryinTurkey.OutofstockintheNetherlandswesupplyourcollectionofmorethan17colorsinvariousweightsandvarioussizes.Turkishqualitycottonispraisedeverywherebecauseofitsgoodqualities.IntheNetherlandswesupplyexclusivelydirectlyresellersandbeyondtheborders,wedeliverourcollectionthroughouragentsanddistributors.

ProductionRawcottonisdeliveredtothefactoriesinlargebales.Thiscottonisthencleanedbymachinesandtherearestringsmade.Thesestrings will go through a “spinning wheel” where threads aremade of the cotton. These threads are fused again with otherthreadsuntiltheyarethickenoughtobewovenfortowels.Thesethreadswillgoonlargespools,where theywillgo towards the looms.Here the towelswill then be woven with the right edges. Once off the weavingmachine,thecottonwillgotothedyeinghouse.Dyeingisdoneinlargemachinesandthetimeofthedeyingprocessdependsofthecolor.Youmustunderstandthatablackcoloredtowelmustbelongerinthedyeingmachine(uptodoublethetime)thanalightcolor.Afterdyeingthetowelswillgotodryingmachinesandthenthetowelswillgotothecuttingsection.Heretheyarecutuptoproductspecifications,andtheedgesarethenstitchedbydoubleneedles.Thenafinalinspection,and“Onlythenisthetowel,anA&Rtowel...”

Fortowelswithdifferentcolors,theprocessisslightlydifferent.Theyarnisfirstdyedandthenwoventoatowel.Thisiscalledayarn-dyedtowel.Therearecertainminimumstomakea towellikethis.QualityControl-Inbetweentheprocesstherearevariousqualityinspections.
