This feature is great for school and research, but also for trying out books before you buy them. Most of the time you can get a good feel for whether or not you like it. Google also provides a link to most of the big online book stores!

Where was this when I was in high school? Google Scholar is a great place for finding research journals and articles. Scholar filters out results leaving you with education based information.

Gmail Canned Responses
If you use gmail and find yourself writing the same email over and over to different people this Google tip is for you. Just create and save those emails as canned responses and have them ready to fly out in a fraction of the time you can go find, copy and paste the information!

Site Searches
I love site searches. This feature uses the power of Google, but filters the results from a single site or set of sites. Very helpful to find data off a particular website. The search is entered as:
weed control site:utextension.tennessee.edu

Never Forget attachments in EmailHow many times have you seen an email go out only to be followed by a 2nd one saying “sorry I forgot the attachment” Those are days of the past with this feature. Google looks at the text of your email for mentions of an attachment. If it finds it you get a prompt before you can send the email to remember your attachment if one isn’t found. Brilliant!
