1.1 IntroductionAustralian Project Solutions Pty Ltd (APS) is a specialist firm, established in 1997 to provide specialisedengineering construction / project management services to State, Local Government and CommercialBusinesses in the private sector.
Typical projects include, construction and or rehabilitation of marine, coastal and commercialinfrastructure.
The primary goals of APS are to ensure that all projects undertaken are completed, on budget, to a timeschedule, and to a quality standard which exceeds the clients expectations.
The nature of services provided by APS is both diverse and comprehensive and includes:
■ Project construction via APS’s highly skilled employee’s ensuring a high quality level of construction
■ Project management and project implementation on behalf of clients, supervising all aspects of theproject from design to construction.
1.2 Professional Qualifications and ExperienceShane Hickey and Mark Krstic are both principles of APS and perform all project management activities.The partners have qualifications in engineering and project management and together have over 40 yearsof combined industry experience.
These qualifications together with their commitment to providing clients with a quality service will ensurethat each project is performed to the highest level, ensuring a minimum cost to the client.
1.3 OH&S / Quality ManagementOccupation Health and Safety is paramount with each project that APS undertakes. APS operates aOH&S system based upon one of the industry’s leading systems “Safety Map”
To ensure that quality is well managed throughout the organisation. A.P.S. operate a quality managementsystem based upon the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9002 -1994, Quality Systems- Model for QualityAssurance in Design, Construction, Development, Production, Installation, and Servicing.
