The Untold…..
It all started 22 years back. It was my first birthday and I was so excited to open up my birthday gifts that I didn’t even want to cut my
cake!
But I realized quite early how unfair life can be. I got a lot of gifts. Problem – I either had them already or didn’t like them at all
All of a sudden, I had lost all hope and my life was ‘colorless’ and deserted
But I realized there’s no use crying. So, I went ahead to make sure the same doesn’t happen on my next birthday.
But it’s not always about me. My friends tell me I am a very nice person, so when I saw how depressed my best friend was after witnessing the debacle at my birthday, I kept my hand on his shoulder and promised I wouldn’t let the same
happen to him.
Since I was his best friend, I knew what he wanted but it was too expensive to buy with my petty pocket money!
So, I asked our mutual friends to chip in money to ‘gift as a group’ and gifted him that bottle of Scotch that led to his priceless
