Spring has indeed arrived! I can’t believe it is already April and we are gearing up for only a few more months of grade 2! Wow, where has the time gone!?

Despite there being only a few months left of school, there is still a lot of learning left to do! This month we will be closing off our Temperatures unit in Science and moving into our Boats unit. If you have any recyclable material you would like to get rid of, please send it our way, as 2B will put it to good use for building in Science. In Social, we will be finishing our tour of Iqaulit

and taking off to Meteghan, Nova Scotia. We will soon be moving into story writing and expanding our writing. In Math, we will begin to build on

concepts we’ve already learned and use our knowledge to add double digits, work with numbers and explore concepts of measurement and 3d objects!

HAPPY SPRING April Edition

Boots/Shoes Please ensure your child has proper OUTDOOR footwear. It would be extremely helpful to LABEL your child’s footwear as many students end up with the same rubber boots! Students should have two pairs of shoes at school (one pair for inside and one for outside!)
