son/daughter needs to be backstage for his/her performance. Please keep in mind that the auditorium doors will only open approximately every 4 numbers (the door openings will be noted in your recital program). This rule applies to everyone and will be enforced at all four shows.

If you are not watching the show and are just coming for your son’s/daughter’s performance, and then leaving afterwards, you can calculate the time you should arrive by figuring out from the start of the show. Each performance number is approximately 2 ½-3 minutes long. You can use this as a guide when judging what time you should arrive at the high school. SPECIAL RECITAL NOTES:

• PLEASE GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO GET TO THE HIGH SCHOOL, TO PARK, TO WALK TO THE AUDITORIUM AND TO FIND A SEAT.

• USHERS WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO ENTER OR EXIT THE AUDITORIUM IN BETWEEN THE TIME FRAME THE DOORS ARE REMAINDED CLOSED. DOORS WILL OPEN APPROXIMATELY EVERY 4 NUMBERS (*THERE ARE A FEW SECTIONS THAT IT WILL NOT BE 4 NUMBERS). IT WILL BE NOTED IN YOUR RECITAL PROGRAM AS TO WHEN THE DOORS WILL OPEN THROUGHOUT THE SHOW.

• NO SAVING SEATS. IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY COMING TO WATCH, PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO ARRIVE TOGETHER AS THERE IS THE RULE OF NO SAVING SEATS. SEATS ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE-- USHERS WILL ENFORCE THIS RULE. *THE ONLY EXCEPTION WILL BE FOR THE PERFORMER AND ONE PARENT TAKING THEIR CHILD BACKSTAGE TO THE DRESSING ROOM.

• PLEASE RE-READ THE COVER LETTER OF YOUR RECITAL PACKET! THIS WILL GIVE YOU DETAILED RECITAL INFORMATION/RULES FOR STUDENTS, PARENTS AND ALL GUESTS. PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ATTENDING THE SHOW.
