April, May and Juneat the Cooking School

Our class focus this quarter is on Spring and Summer. We have demonstration and hands-on classes featuring in-season fruits and vegetables along with grilling tips for cooking outdoors in the warmer weather; just to mention a few topics. Don’t forget to check out the healthy class options that focus on current health care concerns that our customers are facing such as diabetes, cutting back on sodium and vegetarian choices for overall better health. Did you know that wine and/or beer are offered at MOST classes? The class instructors pick a wine or beer that pairs well with whatever is being served for that evening. Just ask about it when you make your reservation.

Message from the Manager For once, we in the Rochester area CANNOT complain about the Winter season we’ve had this year. Usually by this time of year, we are sick and tired of digging ourselves out of snow and are anxious to get out of the house – not so this year!

Our Winter may have been a little different than we are used to, but the one thing that hasn’t changed here in Rochester are the wonderful year-round classes we offer here at the Tops Cooking School. Rain, shine, snow, sleet or fog, we always have classes that feature fantastic chefs and cooks showing us how to prepare fabulous meals for different budgets, palates and health concerns.

We have customers who come to classes by themselves to learn or taste something new. We also have customers who come in groups of 2 or more for a “Friends Night Out” or “Couples Night Out”. It is a reasonable and unique way to spend your entertainment dollars where you get food, fun, and fellowship all in one place (which by the way, saves on gas money)! Consider us the next time you are planning a get together with friends or family. We can even do private classes for groups of 10 or more.

Whatever the reason you come, just come see us here at the TCS where our motto is: “You Always Get Our Best at the TCS!”
