Thank you to Donna Jones. Donna was cleaning out some of her
stuff and found a book she thought might work well in the Model
T library. We now have the "Ford Treasury of Favorite Recipes
from Famous Eating Places, Vol. 2" Let me know if anyone
would like to take a look at this. - Patty Girman

President’Message Here it is April already. Only 2 months from the National Tour. As noted
in this newsletter, the April meeting will be all about the National Tour.
While this informational meeting may be a little late, the Tour Committee
has been working their fingers to the bone on details. Thanks to everyone
for their patience.
Unfortunately, the safety inspection in March had to be cancelled due the
field conditions at the Haase home. So, in true baseball tradition, we have
scheduled a double header on April 7th. The safety inspection will be held
at the Nelson’s barn in conjunction with the pancake breakfast. Thanks
to the Nelson’s for offering their space.
Keep an eye out for flash tours or garage days in the next couple months.
Andy

Redwood Tree to Pacific Seas 2018 National Tour Update
The April club meeting will be devoted to a day by day review of the
National Tour. I will walk thru the activities for each day. There will
be a signup sheet for the different tasks. Don’t be afraid to sign up for
tasks on different days as most tasks only will take an hour or so to
complete. The task list was too big to fit into the Newsletter. At the
meeting we will pass around a couple of clip boards with the list for
you to sign up. The club member registration form is attached. You
have the option to sign up for the complete tour, which is highly rec-
ommended. This will give you access to all of the activities available
on the tour as well as the tour bag, lunches, Sunday reception, access
to state parks, Sturgeon’s Mill/BBQ and Friday banquet. The other
option is to purchase the “Party Pack”. It only includes the welcome
reception and the closing dinner banquet, but no tour-
ing is included with this option. The welcome reception
includes a light dinner and dessert bar. This is a great
time to meet other model T’ers and promote our club.
Please try and attend. The closing banquet is a first
class dinner with all the fixin’s. This will be a great
event you will not want to miss.
