HE IS A PENN STATE PDS STUDENT WHO IS INTERNING WITH A THIRD GRADE CLASS IN OUR BUILDING. TO EXPAND HIS EXPERIENCE, THE KINDERGARTENERS HAVE GRACIOUSLY OFFERED TO TEACH HIM WHAT HE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT JUNIOR PRIMARY LEARNERS! PETE’S NEWSFLASH Our Specials... April 4: Polar Bears/Penguins April 11: My Town & My State April 18: My Country & My Planet April 25: Transportation May 2: Wetlands/Marsh Habitat ** PTO Meeting April 9 @ 7:00 ** PTO Book Swap April 11 ** Please be sure to save this date: May 23 Kindergarten Musical “The Color Factory” at 1:45 ** If you have not sent back a reply about scheduling a spring parent conference, please send an email to let us know! ** April 17 Women in History Poetry contest assembly ** April 18 & 21 No school! ** May 1: Millbrook Marsh field trip, and FTE Heritage Fair HOMEWORK??!!?? Yes! Look for Week #7 in your student’s Daily Folder on Monday. Your student should only need to spend about 5 minutes TOTAL on their homework each evening; Monday through Thursday. Please help us to develop a healthy attitude towards homework... keep it light and FUN!! Return your Homework Bingo sheet on Friday. Remember, if your student does ANY work towards their Learning Goal at home, please let me know so their efforts can be reinforced at school! We collected over 200 pounds of plastic bags, so far!! Keep the plastic coming in!!!!! We are in 3rd Place!
