Message from the President-Elect

Hi Everyone,

With great enthusiasm, we invite you to be a part of the 2014 WVVMA Annual Spring Meeting at the Green-

brier Resort. We are especially excited to be back in White Sulphur Springs this April, on the heels of the

success from the Potomac Regional Veterinary Conference this past November. If you were not among one

of the 250 veterinarians attending that meeting, we hope you consider joining us this spring for the numer-

ous indoor and outdoor experiences you and your family can enjoy outside of CE. Members of the Virginia,

Maryland, and Washington DC VMA’s, please remember that as regional partners you can register at the

member rate for this conference.

With that said, we graciously thank our sponsors, exhibitors, and colleagues in academia for their support in

providing us speakers and various funding for events throughout the weekend. As we continue to host this

meeting and work with the VMA’s in our region, it is reassuring to see familiar faces while at the same time

meeting new ones that we hope to get to know in the coming years.

We hope that you will take this time to not only obtain CE hours, but to also relax, recharge, and enjoy the

lovely Greenbrier amenities (see page 4) and the charming town of Lewisburg. I would like to encourage you

to attend our events throughout the weekend, including Friday’s Welcoming Reception and Saturday’s An-

nual Business Luncheon where we will voting to fill Executive Board seats. After Saturday’s CE, we hope you

join us that evening for some entertainment and our Awards Ceremony. We look forward to seeing you in

White Sulphur Springs!
