    International Transgender Day ofVisibility (TDOV) is an annual event occurring onMarch 31 dedicated to celebrating trans, non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, agender andmore gender diverse people and raising awarenessof discrimination faced by trans peopleworldwide, as well as a celebration of theircontributions to society.     MIT's current policy is thatstudents must showdocumentation of a legal namechange to have theirchosen/preferred name on theirdiploma. Or, students can emailregistrar to have theirchosen/preferred name read outloud but their legal name must beon their diploma.     R e t r e a t 2 0 2 0

    LBGTQ+ Services is alreadyplanning the 18th annualProvincetown Retreat for 2020. The date will be October 2nd -4th. The planning committeemeetings start every Wednesday,in June from 4-5pm EST. This is an annual event forLBGTQ+ students (undergrad andgrad/post-doc) to build communitywith each other as well as facultyand staff.
