moriartyby Anthony HorowitzSherlock Holmes and the villainous James Moriarty disappear into depths of Reichenbach Falls and are presumed dead. Only days later, Frederick Chase from New York’s Pinkerton Detective Agency arrives in Europe and brings a warning: Moriarty’s death has left a hole in the criminal underworld and there are plenty of candidates willing to take his place. Chase soon partners with Scotland Yard's Insp. Athelney Jones, a man well versed in the art of deduction. Without the assistance of the great Sherlock, will the detectives be able to uncover the sinister figure who aims to become Moriarty’s successor?

thE convErt’s songby Sebastian RotellaFormer U.S. Border Patrol Agent Valentine Pescatore has started over as a private investigator in Buenos Aires. Then, Raymond Mercer, a boyhood friend from Chicago appears. After a terrorist attack kills hundreds, Raymond and Valentine both become suspects. Raymond disappears as abruptly as he appeared and Valentine reluctantly suspects that his oldest friend may have planned the attack. He joins forces with Fatima Belhaj, an alluring French agent and together they pursue Raymond through the jungles of Bolivia, France, Spain and, finally, into Iraq.

no fortunatE son: a pikE logan thrillErby Brad TaylorTaskforce veteran operator Pike Logan and his partner, Jennifer Cahill, have just been fired even though their actions saved thousands of lives. But their commander needs help with a personal matter: his niece has gone missing in England. Meanwhile, the Taskforce is dealing with a developing situation. Military relatives of U.S. government officials have been taken hostage by a terrorist organization and unless counterterrorist operations are suspended, the hostages will start to die.

rain on thE dEadby Jack HigginsBlack ops specialist Sean Dillon and Afghan war hero Captain Sara Gideon help prevent the attempted assassination former U.S. President Jake Cazalet in Nantucket. Dillon and Gideon wonder how the two Chechen mercenaries responsible for the attempt even got on the island. What Dillon discovers is chilling and is only the beginning of a much bigger problem.

cold cold hEartby Tami HoagDana Nolan was promising a TV reporter until she was captured by a serial killer. A year after escaping and still suffering from PTSD, Dana returns to her hometown to help put the pieces back together. Her presence attracts the attention of reporters and rekindles the interest in the unsolved disappearance of her best friend shortly after their high school graduation. Dana reluctantly begins to revisit her past but her PTSD has her questioning everything she knows as old friends and loved ones become suspects.

thE assassination option (a clandEstinE opErations novEl)by W.E.B. Griffin and William Butterworth IVRunning a secret spy agency brings unwelcome surprises James Cronley's way. One surprise is a strange alliance between the Mossad and an ex-German intelligence chief. But nothing can prepare Cronley for the shock that awaits him during a special meeting with Seven K, an undercover agent allegedly working against the Soviets.

thE cruisEr: a dan lEnson novElby David PoyerDan Lenson's first mission as Captain has him with taking over the USS Savo Island and steering the ship into dangerous Middle Eastern waters to engage in Operation Stellar Shield. A mysterious murder on board only makes Lenson's new job harder when he is forced to make a decision that could either kill thousands of innocent people or cost him his ship and end his career.

thE third targEtby Joel C. RosenbergWhen New York Times reporter J.B. Collins hears rumors that ISIL (also commonly called ISIS) has captured chemical weapons in Syria, he knows he must pursue this story at all costs. Can Collins uncover the truth before the visit of the U.S. president in the region sets off an explosion and the terrorists achieve genocide?

diE again: a rizzoli & islEs novElby Tess GerritsenBoston homicide detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles are called to a grisly crime scene – Leon Gott, taxidermist and avid hunter, is eviscerated in his home. His death is soon linked to a series of unsolved murders across the country and Rizzoli and Isles suspect that they are all related to a murderous sub-Saharan African cult.

pErfEct sins: a mystEryby Jo BannisterThe disappearance of his wife and children drove former government agent Gabriel Ash mad. Ash’s friend, police constable Hazel Best, is dealing with her last case which ended with her shooting someone dead. Together, they slowly reentered society. Now a senior police officer's claim that Ash's family is still alive relights a hope that nearly destroyed him once. As Ash looks for evidence while investigating Somali hijackings, Hazel is caught up in the investigation of a decades-old corpse found at a local archaeological site. Hazel grew up with the families around the estate where the body was found. Could one of them have buried a little boy and kept it a secret for nearly 30 years?
