Dear Angels,Dear Angels,Dear Angels,Dear Angels, Congratulations on another qualifying month for the Saturn Vue Unit. We have two months down and four to go. You are all amazing. Thank you for my birthday cards. You always make me feel so special and loved. Good news from the home front. My daughter Daila and husband Joe Boufford gave birth to Mason Miles Boufford on March 5th at 7:30 in the morning. Mason weighed 6 lbs and 19 and ¼ inches long. I was with them for ten days and even got to be there for his delivery. Patricia and Donald Colbert also are the proud grandparents of Malachi born to their daughter Dalisha and Robert on 2/6/09 at 7:10am weighing in a 7 1lbs and 13.5 ounces and 20.5 inches long.

Recruiting Tips from Leah Nelson

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT....Everyone in the company is "moving up to a new position" so you can book the interview by saying..."I am working to move up in MK and I need to practice my interview. Would you give me 30 min of your time over coffee...and as a thank you I would love to give you _____(free lipstick or any one item at half price)." It takes 4 practice interviews to get a YES.

We are telling people too much information! We recruit them…. And then we un-recruit them all at the same time. Ask the question, "If this is something you would ever consider doing, what would you need to know in order to know whether you would want to?"

Women can’t make an educated decision until they have all the information.

"If you were to do something part-time for some extra money right now, how many hours per week would you do it?"

Wait for her answer and then based on the number of hours she said, then say, "If 3 hours a week is about $100 profit, that would be $400 a month profit! If I could teach you to do that consistently, would you be willing to find the time?"

Then ask, "If you were willing to find the time, and I could teach you how to do it, what else would you need to know to know if you would ever consider this.

What would be important for you to know?" Then answer their questions.

Then say, "What about what I have shared with you has impressed you the most?

"How would this benefit you if you were ever going to do this?" "How would it benefit your life right now?"

Go through the $100 to get started. It is helpful to show the sheet of what is in the showcase. (It is attached). Show them that they receive over $323 in retail products for demonstration purposes, plus everything else…. Literature, sales aids, samples and a ton of training!

It IS important to say at this point….

"This is just for demonstration… nothing to sell. Most consultants choose to have inventory on hand, but that is a decision you make later if you decide this is what you want to do." Then say, "What we are really looking for are women with four qualities:

1. Women with integrity to do what they say they are going to do.

2. Women who love people. Who genuinely love people, even if you don’t like everybody you work with!

3. Women who have what we call a screaming giant inside, meaning you have talents and abilities that are not being used right now, but if somebody would give you a track to run on, they’d better get out of your way!

4. And women who are decision makers, who can say, "You know, this is probably nothing that I ever considered that I would do, but it is an awesome opportunity for women, and I want and need more than I’m currently getting right now, so I’m willing to give it a try" Because if you don’t give it a try, you’ll never know, and $100 is really not going to change your standard of living, BUT it could certainly change your life! Share a little bit about how it has changed your life.

Then say, "I’ve always equated starting MK to getting a Sam’s membership. Do you have a Sam’s membership? Did you go out and ask 25 of your girlfriends whether they thought you should do that, or did you just do it?"

"Now, what would be three reasons why you SHOULD do this? Why would you do this if you ever decided you would do it?

Let them talk themselves into it.

"Well, you know, it sounds to me like you have a lot of great reasons why you should do this, (or would do this) so why don’t we get you started?”

Show them an agreement and say, “Is there any reason why we can’t go ahead and get you started and hand her your pen to fill out the agreement. My next show is on __________. You could come with me to observe first hand how easy it is to help other women with their make up needs. This will be your first training show.

If they still can’t make a decision, say "I want to help you make the decision that’s best for you, so why not go home and sleep on it. I will call you tomorrow for your decision. My next show is on _______. Why not come and go with me and you can observe yourself how easy and fun it is helping women with their make up needs. This can be your first training show.
