A Peek at Our Week: Reading: Our class will explore text about plant needs, the role of plants in our world and the plant life cycle.
Math: We will use a variety of strategies to add and subtract multiples of ten.
Writing: After exploring books and articles about plants, students will write and publish an informative/explanatory plant report.
Science: Students will use inquiry and observation skills to explore plants around our school.
Spelling/Phonics: Our weekly words will include know, knob, gnat, write, wrist, knife and gnaw. Our goal is to read, write and use our words in conversation with ease and confidence.
Write Reader
Write Reader is a literacy based learning platform where children can create their own books and at the same time learn how to
write and read. The child writes a sentence using his or her current level of written language and the adult
translates the childs writing into proper or correct text.
Books created by the children can be printed, e-mailed and
posted to social media directly from the app. Available in the
iTunes App store Weekly Behavior Chart for
