SPECIAL: REVELATION SONG

This Week at FBCW

Good morning and welcome to church. I am so thankful that you have chosen

to worship with us. Today Mr. Marty Black, Director of Missions for the North

Central Baptist Association, is here to lead our time of worship. Marty is a

friend to our church and his willingness to offer his time is greatly appreciated.

We are pleased to have Bro. Marty share this morning at FBC.

Also, this morning will be the official ingathering for the Annie Armstrong

Easter Offering. This offering provides the primary funding for the North

American Mission Board. Our church’s support allows missionaries throughout

North America to reach the unreached Together For His Kingdom, as the 2017

theme declares. Your gifts can be designated "Missions Offering" anytime

throughout the Easter season.

Another important area for our church includes the local food pantry ministry.

As we help to assist our community, canned goods and other food items are

essential to this ministry. Each of you can contribute to the food pantry

ministry by participating in our church’s collection of “My Gift, His Blessing”.

On Easter Sunday, April 16, I want to encourage you to bring a canned good to

give as your gift which will become a blessing for others. Someone will be in

the Welcome Center at the Welcome Desk before and after the Sunday service

to collect your donation.

Finally, I want you to know that you have been prayed for today. If you have

a prayer need that you would like us to be in prayer about, you can mark that in

the connection card in the pew back in front of you and place it in the offering

plate. If you are a first time guest, please take a moment to fill out the front

side of the connection card and drop it in the offering plate at the end of the

service as well. Thanks again for finding your place at God’s house

today. May the Lord richly bless you.

Keep Moving Forward,

Pastor Steven

Homebound Happies Please remember to pick up “Homebound Happies” in the church office.

The “Happies” will be available Today, April 2nd

through Wednesday,

April 12th, in the church office workroom for those assigned.

Above All

Presented by the Pentecostals of Alexandria

We have pre-purchased a limited number of tickets to the Pentecostals of

Alexandria’s presentation of Above All and we will be taking the church vans

to this presentation on Friday, April 7. We will depart from the church at 5:00

p.m. and travel to Alexandria where we will eat prior to the program. Since we

have only a limited number of tickets, they are available to church members

only on a first come, first serve basis.

The Foto Sisters in Concert

The Foto Sisters have been performing together for over 13 years. They

continue to make appearances in many different venues across the United

States including churches, schools, and athletic events. We are fortunate to be

able to host this talented group of young ladies on Sunday, April 23 at 6:00

p.m., so bring a friend and come join us for an evening of spectacular music.

The Foto Sisters will also be the featured entertainment on Monday, April

24 at the Widow’s and Widower’s Banquet hosted by the Deacon Body of First

Baptist Church. Sign up in the church office if you plan to attend this event!
