CASH CLUB WEEK 33 DRAWING Week 33’s lucky winners of $250.00 each are: Ray Cerezo (# 676 ) and Sally Shovlin (# 444 ) Tickets can be purchased throughout the year. The Stewardship Helps Our Parish Cash Club (SHOP CC) tickets are $50.00 each. To date we have sold 641 tickets. SHOP CC tickets are available during the week from the Parish office, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.

The Shack –Movie and Book Discussion: Saturday, April 22nd 6:30 pm at the DQ (Grill and Chill Restau-rant), Selinsgrove. No advanced sign-up necessary and you needn’t have experienced both the movie and the book to participate. Just come and join in the fun of discussing the story and interesting characters that populate The Shack. And at last check, The Shack is still being shown multiple times daily at the Selinsgrove Cinema.

HERSHEY PARK DISCOUNT TICKETS Order forms are available in the Narthex in the brochure rack and the parish office for Hershey Park discount tickets. Parishioners may order tickets at a significant savings. Forms and payment must be returned to the parish either by mail or placed in the collection no later than Sunday, April 23, 2017. Checks should be made payable to St. Pius X Church.

PARISH OFFICE CLOSED

The parish office will be closed on Easter Monday, April 17 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 18 at 8:30 am.

Easter Egg Hunt Thank You Last Saturday lots of children found many candy-filled eggs on the lawn of the parish. Many thanks to the seventh grad-ers who provided the candy, filled the eggs, “hid” the eggs, and joined in the fun with the children. Also, much gratitude to Spike Charles and Craig DeFazio for their helpful guidance. There was also a special guest appearance . . . we thank Pete Mikhail for it.

Religious Education Registration 2017-2018 Registrations were mailed last week to families with children currently 3 –17 years old who are registered in the par-ish. If you did not receive a packet and plan to register for religious education, please contact Mary Lyons. We respect-fully ask for registrations to be returned by Friday, June 2.

+++SHEPHERD’S PIE UPDATE +++ Next Cooking Day: Shepherd’s Pie will be cooking next Wednesday, April 19 from 9 am to 12:00 noon. Food Donations Needed: Jars of red pasta sauce, cartons of low sodium chicken broth or stock, bottles of extra virgin olive oil are needed. Donations can be placed in the Shepherd’s Pie box located in the Narthex of St. Pius X Church. Gift card donations are al-ways appreciated. Are you able to spare a few hours Wednesday mornings to help cook, extra hands are always appreciated and most welcomed!
