Which of these lead- ership qualities would you desire to see de- veloped in your life? Get your toe warmed up and ready for tap- ping! A beloved tradi- tion at OCEC is our bi- annual Gospel Sing concert, which this year is scheduled for Sunday, May 16 at 6pm . Thank you for your input in selecting some of the songs for our concert. Using your top 7 ―oldies‖ choices and adding a few newer titles, here is a preliminary song list for Gospel Sing 2010: 1. Giving Thanks 2. Good Ol’ Gospel Singing 3. Paid In Full Through Jesus, Amen 4. Promises One By One 5. Satisfied 6. Lean On Me 7. That’s Him 8. Movin’ Up to Glo- ryland 9. Look For Me Around the Throne 10.The First Day of Forever I was able to find re- cordings of all these songs, which I’ve put on a CD for your use. Two of the songs (Satisfied and Movin’ Up to Gloryland) are not exactly like your music, but they’re similar. If you are able to, please con- tribute $2 to help cover the cost of the CD. To this list of 10 choir songs, we’ll also add a couple of ensemble selections. I will encourage but not re- quire memorization for this concert. How about if we wear bright, solid colors for our perform- ance attire? Also, I’d like to explore the possibility of taking selections from this concert to the Mission (City Team). What do you say? GOSPEL SING REHEARSALS: I’d like to extend next Wednesday’s rehearsal until 8:45pm , which will allow time to rehearse all our Gospel Sing Titles. On the following Wednesday, May 12 , please plan to go until 9pm . I also want to add an extra rehearsal during the week prior to performanceMonday, Friday or Saturday, May 10, 14 or 15. Janet Tremain announced

last week that the television

program about the case sur-

rounding her daughter will be

broadcast on Monday, May

17, 7pm on Direct TV’s Discovery Channel. The

program is titled, Solved: Extreme Forensics.
