Artistic Statement“Approach”

An opinion comes from a perspective, as does a perspective come from an opinion. Ones outlook on the mundane varies depending

on the way they approach it. Many choose to spend their days going forward, facing forward- never taking a moment to spare a new angle. As they fail to expand their vision a barrier begins to appear, a barrier in your mind, suddenly you are not capable of

understanding these exterior visions rather than what is in front of you. My body of work takes you out of the paralysis of the

ordinary and direct, into what hovers above you or beneath you in its immense beauty and personality. I am attempting to capture customary objects from an angle that is shunned of use by the majority of society. All I ask of you is to take a moment and a

change of approach to understand the vast perspectives of the world that you haven’t yet been exposed to.
