requirement for continuation of the scholarship award

To be arranged in the order mentioned below• 2 sets of print-out of the duly filled in online application, with

a passport size photograph and signature• 2 typed copies of full curriculum-vitae (bio-data); please give

current address and permanent address with telephonenumbers, email ids, etc.

• Letter of invitation confirming placement at one of the TUgTechnical Universities. Students are advised not to contactthe host professors directly, but rather to take the help oftheir Indian mentors to find suitable placements in Germany.The Indian mentor has to finalise the topic of the project inconsultation and mutual agreement with his German coun-terpart.

• 2 typed copies of the draft of envisaged research project inGermany to be finalized through mutual agreement of Indianand German mentors with their signatures.

• 2 letters of reference from senior academics from the appli-cant's field submitted as CONFIDENTIAL (in sealed enve-lopes)

• 2 sets of copies of all academic certificates and mark-sheets, CGPA/CPI/SGPA, GATE score card (all copiesmust be attested; attested English translation, if the originalsare in Hindi.

Information and advice to the students on the online applicationprocedure

The application form is designed in an easy to use format and will assist us inprocessing applications more efficiently.

before you start, you should print out the Online Application Guidelines, whichprovide a line-by-line explanation of how to fill out an online application form.

- your application can be saved only when the form has been fully andcompletely filled in.

Please note that:

once you have submitted the completed application on the online applicationform (by pressing the button "send"), a pdf file with your application form willcome up - print it out and sign it.you will notice that you have been assigned an application number near thetop of the first page, which has to be given in all subsequent correspondencewith regard to your application.your data will be saved on a special server till the DMD New Delhi Office

receives the hard copies of the filled in application form duly signed by you,along with the other supporting documents (see attached list) through yourinstitute. Do not forget to sign the application form after printing it out!Please ensure that your papers reach the Dean's Office at your institutebefore their deadline! Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

- you cannot save a partially filled in form and continue working on it at a laterpoint in time. The entire form must be completed in one session.

- the portal will close if you do not enter any details for more than one hour andyour application will be automatically deleted!

You are therefore strongly advised to go through all the questions so that you cancollect and keep handy any documents that might be needed to answer them (e.g.curriculum vitae, academic certificates, etc.)
