Appointment of 24th Management Committee

The new Management Committee (MC) was elected at the Annual General Meeting on 25 May 2014 and the key office bearers were elected at our first committee meeting on 4 June 2014.

Out of the 38-members committee, 15 members joined the MC for the first time while 16 members are below the age of 40. The new MC also saw a wider representation of members from the wushu, dragon and lion dance fraternity as well as representation from non-pugilistic space including members from the community, business, professional and the labour movement.

Mr Liang Eng Hwa PBM, MP for Holland-Bukit Timah GRC was re-elected as the President of the Federation while Mr Seah Kian Peng, MP for Marine Parade GRC and Mr Sitoh Yi Pin, MP for Potong Pasir were also re-elected as the Vice President.

The Federation also elected another new Vice President Mr Ong Teng Koon, MP for Sembawang GRC.

Mr Tan Yew Beng, BBM will assume the position of committee Chairman while Mr Jeffrey Tan Keng Hiang was re-elected as the Secretary General.
