The initial measurement was used with adjustment as there was a difference between the Working constant and post-measurement constant.

OVERVIEW OF THE MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE :
Provide an overview below of the processes and procedures you have followed when undertaking the measurement.
The course is measured using a calibrated bicycle fitted with a Jones Counter. The basis of the measurement is to compare the number of revolutions of the bicycle wheel (recorded in counts) neded to cover the race course with the number of revolutions needed to cover a standard ‘calibration course’ of known length.
The following steps were followed :
1. Race course was defined after discussions with race director.
2. The calibration course was selected on a straight and flat section of Trimbak road near the start point.
3. The bicycle was calibrated on the calibration course.
4. The route was seen to consist of a closed loop of approx 9.2 km and an out-and back section. Theexact length of the closed loop was measured first.
5. Taking the length of the closed loop as the basis, the length of the out-and-back section was calculated for 10 km, Half-Marathon and Marathon respectively.
6. The out-and-back distance was divided into two and measured on Trimbak road from ABB Signaltowards Trimbakeshwar. Turn-around point was marked. This was done for each of the distance categories, viz. 10km, Half-Marathon and Full Marathon.
7. Post-calibration of the bicycle was done on the calibration course. There was a difference between the working constant and the Finish Constant, so the average of the two constants was taken as the Constant for the day. As the Constant of the day was greater than the Working constant,the adjustment was calculated for 10k, HM & FM turn-around points.
8. The turn around point for 10k, Half-Marathon & Full Marathon was adjusted and marked for 10k, Half-Marathon and Full Marathon.
9. The measurement was documented.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE1. Start line is located on the Right Carriageway of Trimbak Road facing towards Trimbak Naka near Golf Club Ground. After flag off the runners will remain on the right carriageway and run upto Trimbak Naka Signal.
2. From Trimbak Naka Signal the runners will take a left turn on Old Agra Road and change over tothe left carriageway towards Ashok Stambh.
3. On Ashok Stambh runners will take a left turn on Gangapur Road, and remain on the left carriageway.
4. At Jehan Circle the runners will take a left turn on Mahama Nagar Road and remain on the left carriageway upto ABB Circle Signal.
5. At ABB Circle signal the runners will take a right turn on Trimbak Road and run on the right carriageway towards Trimbakeshwar.
6. 10k, Half-Marathon and Marathon Runners will take a u-turn at their respective points and remain on the same carriageway towards Golf Club Ground.
7. Runners will continue on the same carriageway on Trimbak Road towards Golf Club Ground, cross ABB Circle Signal, and remain on the left carriageway until Mico Circle.
8. Runners will change over to the right carriageway at Mico Circle and remain on the right Carriageway until the Finish Line.
