We are forever learning, and school trips show us a side of the planet that we aren’t familiar with. Combining the two isn’t a difficult task. Here are some trip ideas to keep in mind the next time you plan a school trip.

Crystal River

In the heart of Florida lies a warm water river where all the West Indian manatees go. The West Indian manatees migrate to these warm during cold season to stay warm. These “gentle giants” swim in the river and are typically friendly enough to swim along side with. These animals are endangered, so it is important to interact with one before it may be too late.

Biosphere 2 in Arizona

Astronomers and astronauts unite at the Arizona Biosphere 2 and Kitt Observatory. The Biosphere is an ecosystem that shows what it would be like to establish an ecosystem on the Martian planet. The Biosphere is responsible for handling tasks like water purification, photosynthesis, nutrient decomposition, and pollination. The activities that require human interaction allows for visitors to see how life would typically be for any future Biospherians.

London

Come visit the Crown Jewel of Europe and discover all the sites to see. Tours are available at Buckingham Palace, the very house of England’s reigning monarch. The Big Ben Clock tower, over 158 years old, stands at the north end of Palace of Westminster and is visible for miles in any direction. As an iconic landmark, of course, tours are available to experience the history of the Clocktower. Take a short excursion out of the city to visit Wiltshire and discover the legendary, mysterious, and pre-historic landmark, Stonehenge. Whole outside the city, make way for heading to Shakespeare’s home and tour the Warwick Castle.
