The IngredientsThe Ingredients
• 8 medium-sized Golden apples
50g chopped mixed nuts 150g flour 140g brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
125g sweet butter,
whipped cream or custard 20g raisins
Apple and raisin crumbleApple and raisin crumbleRecipe :
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Peel, core and slice apples.
Arrange in an oven dish. Sprinkle with raisins.
Mix the nuts, flour, sugar and cinnamon together in a large bowl. Add
the butter and rub in with fingertips until mixture has consistency of breadcrumbs, then rub together roughly to create larger lumps.
Sprinkle on apples and raisins and put in oven for 35 minutes, until golden on
top. Serve hot, with ice cream, cream or
custard.
