For some reason, I just received in the mail the letter inviting the SBCCOG to participate in the EIR process for the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension Transit Corridor project dated April 20, 2010. The envelope had notations from the post office and it just got to me even though it seems to have been addressed correctly! While we have prepared the attached letter of the SBCCOG’s comments which was put into the mail yesterday, I notice that the April 20 letter asks for us to respond in writing that we accept designation as a participating agency no later than May 28, 2010. Can this e-mail serve as our acceptance? I have asked Don Camph, the SBCCOG transportation consultant, to represent the SBCCOG at meetings and other venues as appropriate. Please let me know if you need anything else from me. Thanks, Jacki
