Objectives/duties of the “new” EMT Madrid
• Providing bus service within the municipality of Madrid (1,903 buses, 203
bus routes (176 daytime/27 night service), 4,629 bus shelters (10,178 bus
stops) , 91 million km/year , 404 million users/year
• Surveillance of dedicated bus lines
• Managing the tow truck service (88 trucks)
• Managing the public underground parking facilities (16 parkings)
• Managing the publicity at bus shelters and
buses
• Internal and external Consultancy (i.e.
assist Madrid City Council at European
Projects)

among different actors involved in the mobility of the City of Madrid.

facilitates the implementation of measures from local government
bodies
To analyse the evolution through the Annual Mobility Report
