VALUE BEYOND BUILDING
b u i l d i n g S M A R Tenvironments
Providing a great learning experience is the end goal of any educational construction project. A&P has renovated or built more than 1,500 elementary, middle and high school campuses, teaching us that there is no textbook approach to school construction.
While we have extensive experience in new construction and have built some of the most advanced K-12 learning environments in the country, our K-12 teams are also experienced in complex occupied renovations, and work closely with school administrators to ensure student safety and learning are never compromised due to construction activities.
You can trust A&P to provide innovative thinking and solutions to complex challenges, just as we have done for hundreds of satisfied K-12 clients.

VALUE BEYOND BUILDING
Summit Elementary School was conceived to be the school of the future while preparing today’s students to meet the demands of rapidly changing technology and experiential learning. Using a Design-Build delivery method to accommodate an accelerated schedule, A&P collaborated with the School District’s leadership and designers to address 65,300 sf of new construction in a scope that includes classrooms, cafeteria, gymnasium, administration, staff offices and athletic fields. The project team integrated numerous energy-saving features, such as a 40-panel photo voltaic array and a geothermal heat exchange system using 48 400 ft wells. Collectively, the renewable energy sources implemented on this project eliminated the need for a gas line to the building. Gold Medal Winner - Building of America Award
