• Peruse the syllabus. As you read, use a pen with colored ink to make notes on the text (you are also welcome to use highlighters and post-it notes).

Homework: Due Weds. 9/3/14• Summer Assignment Reflection:

• Materials needed: Summer Assignment handout; 3 highlighters (green/yellow/pink)

• Task: Carefully read the SA handout. Identify each direct task to complete. Reflect on how well you completed that task by highlighting the direction.

• Write an overall reflection (1-2 paragraphs) about your intent and completion of the SA. Use this information to write a specific study-skills related goal for AP English 11.

• Green: very well/thoroughly

• Yellow: okay/mostly

• Pink: not at all/poorly

• Signed Syllabus: Look over the syllabus with your parent/guardian and get signatures.
