The majority of hunting is done from pit blinds around naturally occurring waterholes with AN AVERAGE SHOT OF ONLY 14 YARDS! The way these blinds have been designed and built decrease your scent factor and reduce the amount of sound leaving the blind. Simply put, our blinds put you in the BEST POSITION TO TAKE HOME THE TROPHIES OF YOUR DREAMS.

All of our rifle hunting concessions have large numbers of trophy quality animals giving you multiple opportunities at all of the species throughout your hunt.
All rifle hunts take place on Choronga Safaris’ premier concessions. The South African hunting areas are situated along the Limpopo River and the surrounding Bushveld. These areas are littered with arguably the best plains game trophies in all of the world!
If you have members of your group that don’t bow hunt don’t worry!
We do have access to tens of thousands of acres of prime rifle hunting less than 30 minutes from where you will be bow hunting. Everyone shares camp together and in the morning the rifle hunters just head off to the rifle areas. We keep our bow areas bow only!

With South Africa’s infrastructure it is possible to drive to all of these hunting areas but charter flights are available and in some areas recommended.
