Abstract must specify the purpose of research, methodology used, major findings and implications. The science departments of our college are fortunate to be beneficiaries of DBT - Star College Scheme since 2017-18, which has enabled the facilitation of instilling research culture in our students. Research project based learning is widely used to enhance knowledge and skill in students at college level. The aim of the convention is to provide a platform to display the projects of undergraduate and post graduate students through competitions like poster and power point presentations.

The College has hosted wide number of Conferences, Workshops at national and international levels. Apart from the traditional undergraduate programs leading to BA, B.Sc, B.Com Degree, the college also offers semi professional degree programs at undergraduate levels like BMS, BBI, BAF, B.Sc (Computer Science) and B.Sc (IT). The college further offers M.Sc(Physics) M.Sc (Chemistry) and M.Com programs at postgraduate level along with Ph.D program in Botany.

The parent body, NES-SVB group of 65 institutions founded by Dr. R. Varadarajan, has been constantly motivating staff and students towards quality research, knowledge updation, use of technology, student centric approach and activity based teaching methods.

Founder President Dr. R. Varadarajan has been recipient of many awards at national and international levels in recognition for his committed service to the cause of education.

Ratnam College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Bhandup is a college established with a mission of providing quality education and holistic development to students especially from under privileged sections and has now positioned itself among top colleges in Mumbai.
