Torrey Pines Trolley Line

MTS - Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project

• The Mid-Coast Trolley will extend an additional 11 mile Light Rail extension from Old Town to UTC

• Nine Stations are to be added one of which is located at the entrance to La Jolla Village Square off of Nobel Drive

• This extension will provide surrounding residents, UCSD students, faculty and staff as well as Scripps Memorial Hospital faculty and staff an efficient transit connection to La Jolla Village Square and will provide a reliable Trolley service throughout the corridor

• The population along the corridor is predicted to increase 19 percent by the year 2030, while employment is predicted to increase 12 percent
